When the mainstream media issues biased news stories on abortion issues, it should come as no surprise to pro-life advocates. That's because a new analysis of campaign donations by media reporters, producers and writers finds 88 percent of them went to pro-abortion candidate Barack Obama in 2008.
The Washington Examiner found employees of ABC, NBC and CBS gave more than $1 million to Democratic candidates in 2008.
Compiling data from the Center for Responsive Politics, the newspaper found 1,160 employees of the three television networks gave Democrats a total of $1,020,816 while just 193 employees gave $142,863 to Republicans.

August 24, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) – LifeSiteNews journalist Hilary White sent me an email noting links to the three-part YouTube video of a 1950s Twilight Zone television series segment called, "The Obsolete Man." Hilary, who has been covering major international developments for some time, suggested the segment was well worth viewing again in light of today's trends. - Steve Jalsevac
...Twilight Zone host Rod Serling, begins the television segment stating:
"This is not a new world: It is simply an extension of what began in the old one. It has patterned itself after every dictator who has ever planted the ripping imprint of a boot on the pages of history since the beginning of time. It has refinements, technological advances, and a more sophisticated approach to the destruction of human freedom. But like every one of the super states that preceded it, it has one iron rule: Logic is an enemy, and truth is a menace."

No longer just the shadowy territory of smaller, edgier brands, some of the biggest brands in America are now flocking to finance toxic pop culture to our youth and hoping you don't notice.
In a recent televised interview, NJ Governor, Chris Christie, took issue over MTV's latest boozy sleaze fest, Jersey Shore. To his credit, Christie immediately distanced New Jersey from the unprincipled series, explaining that most of the characters in the show were "imported from New York," and that in no way do they reflect the good people of the Jersey shore. Good and decent people from any state or any political party would distance themselves from this kind of outrageous "entertainment" targeted toward their youth, including most of the fine people of New York. However, this is oddly not the case with many major advertisers. To the contrary, this poster-child series for all things disgusting about pop culture seems to have a magnetic allure to some of the biggest advertisers in America.

A pop music diva has released a new song espousing the virtues of burqas, the Taliban, and singing praises to Allah with lyrics that are causing controversy among some family groups while being praised by Hollywood music scene elites.
Maya Arulpragasam, the British-born songwriter of Sri Lankan Tamil descent is also known as M.I.A. -- an acronym for Missing In Acton. Her song's chorus repeats the phrase "I really love a lot" in such a way that it undeniably sounds like "I really love Allah."

The power of Hollywood to use art in a perverse manner to alter the very fabric of our nation is startling. Firmly held values have begun to shift toward "tolerance" of behaviors that our Christian nation once understood to be anti-social and damaging to the culture. The stories we hear and the images we see daily desensitize us to truly detestable acts, language, and attitudes. But, it is important to realize that we are only victims to it by choice. No one forces us to consume the culture-robbing media. Yet, we consume and consume some more. And, our hearts and minds are changed a little each time we allow access to these messages.
